Mahindra & Mahindra group, holding a lead of 41% shares in the domestic tractor market, showed a drop off of nearly 17% in the sales in the month of December.

Unseasonal rain in the month of December caused a heavy loss in the sales of tractor due to the poor condition and delay in farming activities which lead to the drop off of tractors due to the disturbance in agriculture operations.Going with this situations, farmers can slow down the purchase of tractors until the weather gets better.It has been noticed that the agricultural machinery sector’s domestic tractor sales get a drop off, making it the most crucial fall in last 2 years. News from the industry told that the tractor volumes fell by 20% year by year of around 44,519 units.The national fourth largest tractor manufacturer, Kubota, outlined a decrease of 17% in the sales of tractors in the same month.
